- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I have elevated levels of antibodies in my body and my general doctor led me to him saying I might have lupus. Well after meeting with him, he said yes you do have elevated antibodies but I don't believe it is lupus. He put me through more tests and then came to say, there are still elevated antibodies in your blood but I don't know the cause - you need to go to a better teaching hospital where they take cases like yours. "You're a complicated woman." He spent maybe 10 minutes with me just to tell me - go somewhere else I have too many patients to sit and figure your case out. He said my best bet was to go to Boston hospital or the Mayo clinic. I'm sorry but if he can't tell I am too sick to travel then how good is he really?? Doctors like him are just in the profession for money and to boast about their status. Even his office staff was stuck up. I don't think he's a good doctor because when a hard case comes along, he throws it out the window for someone else to figure out.June 19, 2017by A Google User
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I have been dealing with arthritis since I was 17. When I moved to Palm Springs from Atlanta I went to Dr. Hirschberg. The doctor read my charts and went ballistic when he found out I had a high red blood count. I told him I knew this and was getting treatment. Still he called my GP in front of me, got him out of a meeting with a patient, and proceeded to angrily tell him he was not treating me effectively. He was extremely rude and obnoxious to my GP. I was extremely embarrassed as my GP is the best GP I have ever had. He wasn't finished. Dr. Hirschberg then called my arthritis specialist in Atlanta and did the same thing to her. He seemed entirely unstable to me. I have talked to other doctors who are familiar with Dr. Hirschberg's erratic behavior. I did not go back.April 22, 2017by Mark Thompson
